EPA is opening a public comment period on the request of the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners and the city of Cincinnati for approval of a revised proposal for controlling combined sewer overflows in a portion of Lower Mill Creek. If approved, Hamilton County and Cincinnati would be allowed to pursue that plan as a substitute for a deep tunnel-based solution outlined in the original, court-ordered wet weather control plan.
A copy of the proposed alternative control plan titled Revised Original Lower Mill Creek Partial Remedy and other information and documents are available at www.epa.gov/region5/water/lowermillcreek/.
