I am writing to express my support for O S i Specialties proposed project. This project which would provide a new polyether methyl capping facility, with a production rate twice that of the existing unit, which seems to me would be a step in the right direction.
This project if approved would greatly reduce air emissions and provide for wastewater treatment. I feel that if this company is willing to try to reduce air emissions by some 350,000 pounds yearly and reduce wastewater emissions by some 250,000 pounds per year, we should applaud their efforts.
Since I live in the area in which the OSi Specialties Plant is located, I feel that this project is one that is needed and should be approved.
