Draft Guidance for Conducting Cumulative Assessment

EPA has scheduled a technical briefing on the draft guidance on cumulative risk assessment ("Proposed Guidance on Cumulative Risk Assessment of Pesticide Chemicals that have a Common Mechanism of Toxicity"). The briefing will be held Thursday, July 20, at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Conference Center, 4301 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA (map, ) and will begin at 9:30 a.m. EPA staff who participated in development of the guidance will explain the policy described in the document and will answer questions about the guidance. EPA published a Federal Register notice announcing the meeting on July 6.
The draft guidance document is available on EPA’s web site (https://www.epa.gov/pesticides/trac/science/) and in the Office of Pesticide Programs public docket (703-305-5805). Comments on the cumulative risk assessment guidance should be submitted in writing to the OPP docket, as described in the June 30 Federal Register notice announcing the availability of the guidance for public comment (65 FR 40644).
