10:30 a.m. Facilitated Breakout Sessions
Transition Work Group members will be divided into two groups. Each breakout group will work to develop a set of potential recommendations to EPA and USDA for how to assist with transition, using the background paper on the commodity case studies prepared for the meeting as a starting point for discussion. Commodity resource people in attendance will also be assigned to breakout groups to provide additional background information. Representatives from EPA and USDA will be available as resources to each breakout group as well.

3:45 p.m. Report Out from Breakout Groups
Each breakout group will present a summary of its draft recommendations and the group will discuss how to integrate and combine the work of the breakout groups into a set of draft recommendations. Overnight, staff will work to develop an integrated list which will be shared with the full group the next morning.

Members of the Transition Work Group will review and discuss a summary of the recommendations proposed by breakout groups the previous day and refine these for presentation to the full CARAT Committee.
