07/14/04 New Active Ingredient Approval - EPA issued a notice, published in the Federal Register of 8/06/2003 which announced that the Interregional Research Project No. 4 (IR-4), Rutgers University, Technology Center of New Jersey, North Brunswick, NJ on behalf of Morse Enterprises Limited, Inc. of Miami, FL 33129, had submitted applications to register a manufacturing use product, Yeast Hydrolysate Liquid (EPA File Symbol 73512-E) and the end use product, KeyPlex 350 (EPA File Symbol 73512-R) containing the new active ingredient Yeast Extract Hydrolysate from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which was not included in any previously registered product. The following products were approved on February 19, 2004.
1. The manufacturing use product, Yeast Hydrolysate Liquid, containing 2.5% active ingredient (EPA Registration Number 73512-2) for use in the management of plant diseases.
2. The end use product, KeyPlex 350, containing 0.063% active ingredient (EPA Registration Number 73512-1 for use in the management of plant diseases.
3/3/04 Tolerance Exemption Established - This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the biochemical pesticide Yeast Extract Hydrolysate from Saccharomyces cerevisiae on all food commodities when applied/used for the management of plant diseases. Morse Enterprises, Limited, Inc. submitted a petition to EPA requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of Yeast Extract Hydrolysate from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

8/6/03 Petition for Tolerance Exemption - EPA has received a pesticide petition (PP 2E6383) from Interregional Research Project Number 4 (IR-4) proposing to establish an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for the biochemical pesticide yeast extract hydrolysate from Saccharomyces cerevisiae in or on all food commodities.
8/6/03 Application for New Active Ingredient Registration - EPA received an application from Interregional Research Project 4 (IR-4) on behalf of Morse Enterprises Limited, Inc. for Yeast extract hydrolysate from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. For use in management of plant diseases.
