8/23/06 Tolerance Exemption Established - This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of Phosphorous Acid and its ammonium, sodium, and potassium salts in or all food commodities to allow for post-harvest application to stored potatoes at 35,600 parts per million (ppm) or less of phosphorus acid. This exemption is being issued at EPA's own initiative. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of phosphorous acid and its ammonium, sodium, and potassium salts.
6/28/06 Amendment to Tolerance Exemption Proposed - EPA proposes to amend the existing tolerance exemption for residues of Phosphorous Acid and its ammonium, sodium, and potassium salts in or on all food commodities to allow for post- harvest application to stored potatoes at 35,600 ppm or less phosphorous acid.
