8/03/05	Tolerance Exemption Established - This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of acetic acid when used as a preservative for post-harvest stored grains and hay intended for animal feed. Eastman Chemical Company submitted a petition to EPA requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of acetic acid for this use.

6/11/03	Petition for Tolerance Exemption - EPA has received a pesticide petition (3F6516) from Eastman Chemical Company, P.O. Box 511, Kingsport, TN 37662 proposing, pursuant to section 408(d) of the FFDCA, 21 U.S.C. 346a(d), to amend 40 CFR part 180 to establish an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for the biochemical pesticide acetic acid.
