2/22/06 Conditional Approval of Active Ingredient - EPA issued a notice, published in the Federal Register of April 14, 2004 ( 69 FR 19845 ) (FRL-7352-7), which announced that AgraQuest, Inc. of Davis, CA, had submitted an application to conditionally register the pesticide product, Muscodor albus strain QST 20799, biofumigant (EPA File Symbol 69592-RU), containing Muscodor albus QST 20799, an active ingredient not included in any previously registered product. This application also included registration of three end-use products containing Muscodor albus QST 20799: Arabesque (EPA File Symbol 69592-RL); Andante (EPA File Symbol 69592-RT; and Glissade (EPA File Symbol 69592-RI). The applications were conditionally approved on September 22, 2005

9/28/05 Tolerance Exemption Established - This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the Muscodor albus (M. albus) QST 20799 and the volatiles produced on its rehydration on all food commodities when applied or used for all agricultural applications, including seed, propagule and post harvest treatments. This action is in response to a pesticide petition submitted to EPA by AgraQuest, Inc., requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of M. albus QST 20799 and the volatiles produced on its rehydration.

  3. File Symbol: 69592-RL. Applicant: AgraQuest, Inc. Product name: Arabesque. Antifungal agent. Active ingredient: Muscodor albus strain QST 20799 at 0.35%. Proposed classification/Use: For control of post harvest diseases of food and non-food commodities, and preplant control of seed, bulb, and tuber borne diseases of food and non-food commodities.

4/07/04 Petition for Tolerance Exemption - EPA has received a pesticide petition (PP 3F6745) from AgraQuest, Inc. of Davis, CA proposing to amend 40 CFR part 180 to establish an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for the microbial pesticide Muscodor albus strain QST 20799 in or on all food commodities.
