    Agricultural equipment such as this grape harvester will produce fewer harmful emissions now that it has a new engine. The San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District received $2.0 million in EPA funds to replace 33 engines on agricultural vehicles.

  • Reduce Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Emissions
    Children living in the eight counties of the San Joaquin Valley have higher than normal instances of asthma. This project will provide health benefits for the area’s residents by reducing diesel emissions.
