The H. Lee White sits in dry dock. The ship’s auxiliary service generators were replaced in March 2010, helping to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions and particulate matter pollution in the Great Lakes region.

The Indiana Harbor was in dry dock at Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. It was retrofitted with new auxiliary service generators to reduce diesel emissions in March 2010.

The Indiana Harbor and H. Lee White have been operating in the Great Lakes for over 30 years. This project will generate an estimated fuel savings of 8,500 gallons per year.
