Tribal Pesticide Program Council Meeting - October 6-9, 2014

EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs will host the Tribal Pesticide Program Council meeting on October 6-9, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Tentative agenda topics include a State of the Council report, updates on regional tribal activities, Pest Detector Training, strengthening tribal-state coordination, pollinator protection plans, cooperative agreement performance measures, and the National Program Manager guidance. The TPPC is a tribal technical resource and a program and policy development dialogue group, focused on pesticide issues and concerns. It is composed of authorized representatives from federally recognized tribes and Indian nations and intertribal organizations.
Meeting Location
The meeting will be held at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Pesticide Programs, One Potomac Yard, 2777 S. Crystal Drive, Arlington, Virginia, 22202, in conference room S4370-80. No advance registration is required. This meeting is accessible to people with disabilities. Sign language interpretation or other auxiliary aids are available on request at least 10 days prior to the meeting by contacting powell.mary@epa.gov. Persons planning to attend should bring a valid photo identification to enter the facility, such as a passport or driver's license*. All visitors must be escorted. Please be aware that there are new ID requirements for visiting the Office Pesticide Programs. Under the new requirements, not all state driver’s licenses qualify as valid ID.
