Pesticide News Story: Tribal Pesticide Program Council Meeting October 13 and 14

The Tribal Pesticide Program Council (TPPC) will meet on October 13 and 14, 2010. Sponsored by EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), the meeting will be held on the Coeur D’Alene reservation in Worley, Idaho. Various pesticide-related issues affecting Indian country will be discussed during sessions that are open to the public. Some Agenda topics include:
- the Coeur D’Alene Tribe and its culture;
- update on EPA actions and dialogue with Agency staff about issues of concern;
- pesticide-related issues affecting Indian country;
- the latest information about Integrated Pest Management; and
- Worker Protection Standard training
