PRZM (Pesticide Root Zone Model) - Superseded

PRZM is a surface water model that simulates chemical movement in soil within and immediately below the plant root zone. PRZM is often linked with EXAMS to develop refined exposure assessments of pesticide concentrations in aquatic environments.

EXAMS (Exposure Analysis Modeling System) - Superseded

EXAMS is a surface water model that evaluates the fate, transport, and exposure concentration of pesticides. EXAMS is frequently linked with PRZM to develop refined exposure assessments of pesticide concentrations in aquatic environments.

GENEEC2 (GENeric Estimated Environmental Concentration) - Superseded

GENEEC is a surface water model that is used to assess exposure of pesticides to aquatic organisms and the environment.

GENEEC2 for Windows 7© - Superseded

The GENeric Estimated Environmental Concentration (GENEEC 2.1) is a screening model to predict environmental concentrations of pesticides in surface water that was recompiled to operate in the Microsoft© Windows 7© environment. This is a legacy model of the Agency which there is no active support. It is posted here as a courtesy for end users who operate in the Windows 7© environment until December 31, 2016 at which time it will be removed from this website.  For reference, the Surface Water Concentration Calculator (SWCC) is the official model currently utilized for estimating environmental concentrations of pesticides in surface water (https://www.epa.gov/oppefed1/models/water/#swcc).
