EPA's 2012 Federal Activities Inventory Reform (FAIR) Act Inventory

Attached is the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) 2012 Inventory of Commercial and Inherently Governmental Activities providing the fiscal year for which each activity designated as not inherently governmental first appeared on the Agency's inventory. All other previously provided information remains the same. Also, in accordance with FAIR Section 2 (c)(2) and the Circular, Attachment A, paragraph D.6, when a FAIR Act Challenge results in a change to an agency inventory, EPA shall make such changes available to the public, transmit a copy of the change to OMB and the Congress, and publish a notice of public availability in the Federal Register. This inventory represents a comprehensive report of all EPA commercial and inherently governmental activities and the FTEs performing them. It does not include Full-Time Equivalents (FTE) from the EPA Office of Inspector General; they submit and publish their inventory separately.

Comments or questions regarding the inventory may be directed to Jennifer Cranford at cranford.jennifer@epa.gov or(202) 564-0798. You may also contact Melanie Gooden at gooden.melanie@epa.gov or (919) 541-1376.
