Wei-zian Zhang
Dr. Wei-xian Zhang is currently Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering at Lehigh University. He also holds a joint appointment at the center for Advanced Materials & Nanotechnology.
Dr Zhang’s research is on chemical and biological transformation of persistent environmental contaminants. He has pioneered the application of iron nanoparticles for environmental remediation.
Dr. Zhang is the recipient of National Science Foundation’s CAREER Award (2000) and Lehigh University’s Class 1961 Professorship. He received his Ph.D. in environmental engineering in 1996 from Johns Hopkins University
