Dr. Greg Lowry joined the faculty of the Civil and Environmental Engineering
Department at Carnegie Mellon University in 2001. His current research
aims to develop functional reactive nanoparticles optimized for in situ
remediation of HOC-contaminated soil and sediment, and to understand the
fundamental factors governing the reactivity and transport of nanoparticles
in natural systems. He earned his Ph.D. in 2000 in Civil & Environmental
Engineering at Stanford University.
