Barry K. Lavine has published more than 90 papers in the field of analytical chemistry and environmental analysis. He is on the editorial board of several journals including Analytical Letters, the Microchemical Journal, and the Journal of Chemometrics. His area of research encompasses many aspects of chemical analysis and the application of computers to chemical analysis. Currently, Lavine has an active research program in chemical sensors, retention mechanisms in RPLC, colloid chemistry, pattern recognition and multivariate calibration.
