Sources, Composition, and Health Effects of Coarse Particulate Matter Progress Review
September 22, 2010 Numerous questions exist regarding the heterogeneity, composition, and sources of coarse particulate matter (PM10-2.5) characteristic of specific locations and comparisons between locations, especially rural versus urban areas. EPA’s National Center for Environmental Research, Science to Achieve Results (STAR) grantees will discuss the objectives, approaches, and results from their research with scientists from EPA, state agencies, other federal agencies, and industry.
