The Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint is located adjacent to Southpoint Mall and off I-40 on Fayetteville Road. The hotel is 10 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport; 12 miles from downtown Durham; 14 miles from Duke Medical Center; 7.5 miles from the University of North Carolina Medical Center; and 4 miles from Research Triangle Park.

RESERVATIONS:
Please make your hotel reservations by calling the Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint at (919) 544-6000 or 1-800 HILTONS (445-8667). To ensure that you receive the group rate of $97 plus tax per evening, be sure to give the Hilton reservationist the room block name EPA STAR. THE ROOM BLOCK WILL BE IN EFFECT AT THE GROUP RATE UNTIL Tuesday, April 8, 2008, ONLY. Reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to your date of arrival or you will be charged for 1 nights room and tax.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE HOTEL:
From Raleigh, NC:
Take I-40 West to Exit 276, which is Southpoint Boulevard. Take a left on Fayetteville Road, and the hotel is on the left.

From Greensboro, NC:
Take I-40 East/I-85 BR N/US 220 N/ US 29 N/US 421 S/US 70E toward Burlington. Take Exit 276 to Southpoint Boulevard. Turn right on Fayetteville Road, and the hotel is on the left.

From Richmond, VA:
Take I-95 South to Exit 51. Merge onto I-85 S/US 460 West toward Durham/Atlanta. Follow I-85 South to Exit 178, which is US 70 East going toward the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Merge onto the US 70-Bypass East and turn left at S. Miami Boulevard. Take a slight right to stay on S. Miami Boulevard, then turn right at Ellis Road. Turn left to merge onto NC-147 South toward Raleigh/Chapel Hill. Take Exit 5B to merge onto I-40 West toward Chapel Hill. Take Exit 276 toward Southpoint Boulevard. Turn left on Fayetteville Road, and the hotel is on the left.

From Raleigh-Durham International Airport:
Head Northwest on Terminal Boulevard and turn left to stay on Terminal Boulevard. Continue on Airport Boulevard. Turn right to merge onto I-40 W toward Durham/Chapel Hill, and take Exit 276 toward Southpoint Boulevard. Turn left on Fayetteville Road, and the hotel is on the left.

Please Note:  Participants will need to find their own transportation from the hotel to the EPA Main Campus and from the EPA Main Campus back to the hotel.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE EPA CAMPUS:
Exit the hotel heading North on Fayetteville Road toward Herndon Road, approximately 0.4 miles. Merge onto I-40 East via the ramp heading toward Raleigh. Stay on I-40 East for 2.1 miles. Take Exit 278 for NC-55 toward NC-54/Apex for 0.3 miles. Turn right at NC-55 and drive 1.8 miles. Turn left at TW Alexander Drive. Go 0.6 miles and turn left at the entrance sign for the EPA Research Triangle Park campus. Pass the National Computer Center on the left; follow signs to the Main Campus entrance on the right. Enter building C through the main entrance (diagonally across the courtyard from the flag poles). Visitors will need to check in with the guards to sign in, obtain a visitor’s badge, and get a parking pass. The meeting will be held in the Auditorium.

You must present a picture ID to enter the EPA Main Campus. All laptops will be checked upon your arrival at the security desk.
