The Clean Boating Partnership is an industry group that includes marina and boatyard owners/operators and representatives from the Marine Industries Association of Florida and its local chapters, Florida Sea Grant, U.S. Coast Guard and the International Marina Institute. This group provides direction and recommendation to the award winning Florida Clean Marina Program. The program is a voluntary, statewide, partnership driven, criteria and incentive-based pollution prevention program for marinas and boatyards. The Partnership was created in April 2000 and continues with over 60 marinas and 9 boatyards designated as clean facilities with another 150 facilities working towards their designation.
