Proportion of forest edge area to total forest is calculated as amount of forest
area that is less than 210 meters from any non-forest land cover type divided by
total forest area in the watershed. This metric provides information on the ratio
of edge and interior forest in the watershed. High values represent large
amounts of edge and little interior forest in the watershed, while low values
represent large amounts of interior and small amounts of edge forest.
