DESCRIPTION

This document represents EPA's analysis of analytical data submitted by DuPont in public
comment on the proposed inorganic chemical listing determination and rulemaking.

ABSTRACT

In response to the proposed listing determination for wastes generated by inorganic chemical
manufacturing (65 FR 55684), DuPont provided extensive new analytical data to support their
argument that their waste is not hazardous.  This document presents EPA's review of DuPont's
data, with particular emphasis on the validity of DuPont's thallium analyses.
