Athens EPA Employees Mark Earth Day Week by an East-side Area Cleanup

ATLANTA - EPA’s Athens-based employees together with Keep Athens Clarke County Beautiful (KACCB) will mark Earth Week by cleaning up the Firewood Street neighborhood and WOW playground area.

EPA Region 4’s Science and Ecological System Support Division is based in Athens, Ga. For the last 5 years, Athens EPA employees have chosen an area to cleanup around Earth Day with input from KACCB.
