TO MAKE SIGNIFICANT ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT
ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE MISSISSIPPI

Attorney General Janet Reno and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Carol Browner will be in St. Louis tomorrow to announce accomplishments and significant new cases in the Mississippi River Initiative. The two Cabinet secretaries will inspect a clean up site and then make the announcement on this year-long environmental enforcement effort. Below are the media logistics.

Her phone number is (314) 539-6068. Space on the press boat is limited; an r.s.v.p. will improve but not guarantee your chances of getting on, but if we have overflow, we may need to arrange a pool. Cameras and stills participating in the photo-op should meet at 10:00am at the Overlook Stage on Leanor K. Sullivan Boulevard between the Mississippi River and the Arch.
