EPA To Announce Healthy Community Grants Monday in New Haven

BOSTON – On Monday, October 20, 2003, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will announce two grants to improve community environmental health in New Haven, Conn.

The announcement will be at 1:00 p.m. in the atrium of New Haven City Hall, 165 Church Street, New Haven, Conn.

• Ira Leighton, deputy regional administrator, EPA’s New England Office
• Oliver Barton, executive director of the New Haven Ecology Project
