U.S. EPA TO HOLD PRESS EVENT ON POLLUTION PREVENTION AWARDS

EVENT:       Presention of Pollution Prevention Awards to
             four Bay Area firms

DATE:        September 17, 1996  

TIME:        1:30 p.m. -- press event

             2:00 p.m. -- A tour of a pollution prevention        
             facility at Lockheed Martin Missles & Space

LOCATION:    Lockheed Martin Missles & Space
             Building 101, 1111 Lockheed Way
             Note: After arriving at Building 101,
             a representative from Lockheed will
             guide members of the press to the executive          
             conference room, where the press event will be
             held.

DIRECTIONS:  From San Francisco: Go south on Highway 101. In
             Sunnyvale, take the Alviso-Milpitas (Highway 237)    
             off ramp. Once on 237, stay in right hand lane and
             take the first off ramp, which is Mathilda Avenue.  
             Turn left at Mathilda, and at the third stop light,  
             which is Lockheed Way, make a left. Building 101 is  
             on the right side of the street. There is a          
             flagpole in front of the building. Visitor parking  
             is available, and parking is also available in the  
             back of Building 101.
