EPA awards $110,000 to the Miami Tribe to develop and manage environmental programs

(Dallas, Texas – April 5, 2007) The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded $110,000 to the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma to develop and manage environmental programs to protect and improve the environment and public health of the tribe. The project includes the administration of the tribe's environmental department and activities related to development of a tribal air program.
