EPA AMENDS ENFORCEMENT ORDER WITH UNION PACIFIC

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7, has amended the unilateral administrative order issued to Union Pacific Railroad Co. for performance of work at the Omaha Lead Superfund Site for 60 days.

The amendment changes the effective date of the order to Nov. 30, 2005. This amendment was completed to allow the two parties to continue negotiations toward a settlement.
