Advisory: EPA advisors to hold public meeting on energy, water and stewardship

{Denver, Colo.-- 09/25/2006} Energy and the environment, environmental stewardship-cooperative conservation and sustainable water infrastructure are among the topics to be discussed at a public meeting hosted by a federal advisory group called the National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology in Denver from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Sept. 28 and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Four Points by Sheraton Denver Cherry Creek, 600 South Colorado Blvd. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.

On the first day of the meeting, invited experts will offer their views followed by an open discussion with the Council on the topics of energy and the environment, environmental stewardship-cooperative conservation, and sustainable water infrastructure. Attendees will be invited to give the Council input on the topics discussed and other environmental issues during a public comment session at 1:15 p.m. on Sept. 28 and 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 29.
