EPA TO AWARD BROWNFIELDS GRANT TO COUNCIL BLUFFS

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be presenting a check for $400,000 to Council Bluffs Mayor Thomas Hanafan for Brownfields assessments.

These funds will help the city to perform Brownfields assessments for hazardous waste and petroleum in the South Main area, one of the oldest and most deteriorated industrial districts in Council Bluffs.
