EPA Press Briefing for President’s Budget for Fiscal Year 2005

(01/30/2004) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Mike Leavitt on Monday, Feb. 2 will announce President Bush’s proposed Budget Request for Fiscal Year 2005. The budget request, including both existing programs and new initiatives, emphasizes progress through enhanced science and technology, market incentives and collaboration.

Metro: Take either the Orange or Blue Line to Federal Triangle Exit;
          take the escalator to the top of the exit. Make a 180-degree turn to 12th Street,
          then walk right to Constitution Avenue, then turn right. The entrance to EPA East building is near
          the corner of 12th and Constitution Avenue. From the guard’s desk press will be escorted to the briefing.
