Demarest Elementary School Wins Energy Conservation Battle EPA Regional Administrator Judith A. Enck to Present Award to School Community

      (New York, N.Y.) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Regional Administrator Judith A. Enck will recognize the extraordinary achievements of the Demarest Elementary School in Bloomfield, NJ tomorrow as she presents school officials with the top award for dramatically reducing their energy use. Ms. Enck will be joined by the school’s Principal, Mary Todaro, as well as the school district’s Superintendent, Jason Bing, teachers, students and other members of the school community.

      The Demarest School was one of more than 3,000 buildings from across the country to participate in the 2012 national Battle of the Buildings competition.
