Administrator Jackson and Secretary LaHood to Testify on Recovery Act Implementation

(Washington, D.C. – April 28, 2009) Tomorrow, April 29, 2009, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson and U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will testify before a hearing of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Administrator Jackson and Secretary LaHood will discuss how the EPA and DOT are working to get tens of billions of dollars in recovery act funding out the door to create jobs, protect human health and the environment, and boost local economies.
