EPA, KDHE PLAN PUBLIC ENVIRONMENT FORUM AUG. 25

EPA Region 7 Administrator Jim Gulliford and Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Division Director Ron Hammerschmidt are inviting the public to attend an open forum to discuss Kansas environmental issues.

Gulliford and Hammerschmidt will provide an overview of the status of the state’s environment and take questions from attendees. Public input will help both agencies develop future priorities.

Gulliford called the forum “a great opportunity to gain and give new perspectives to improve the Kansas environment.”

The public is encouraged to attend. There is no admission fee for the open discussion, which immediately follows the 2005 Kansas Environment Conference.
