EPA Hearing Seeks Public Comment on Overwhelming Transport Classification

(4/11/06) EPA will hold a public hearing Wednesday, April 12, 2006 on the agency's proposal to reconsider several issues associated with the overwhelming transport classification available to some 8-hour ozone nonattainment areas.

Anyone wishing to speak at the hearing must pre-register. The hearing will begin at 10 a.m. at EPA's offices in Research Triangle Park, N.C., and will continue until all speakers have commented. To register to speak, contact Pam Long at (919) 541-1641 or by e-mail at long.pam@epa.gov

EPA also will take written comment on the proposed reconsideration until May 12, 2006.
