Wednesday and Thursday: EPA hosts (telephone only) government press briefing on Enbridge Romeoville oil spill response

Chicago, Ill. (Sept. 15, 2010) - On behalf of Unified Command, EPA officials, along with Romeoville Mayor Noak and a representative of Illinois EPA, will hold media briefings Wed., Sept. 15 and Thurs., Sept. 16 - by telephone only - regarding the ongoing response to the Enbridge oil spill in Romeoville, Ill. EPA has the role of Federal On-Scene Coordinator for this incident.

The conference call briefings will take place at 1 p.m. CT each day.

Officials with Enbridge will separately brief the media immediately following the government briefing on the same conference line.
