DENVER-- EPA on Monday (June 5) ordered Hi-Ute Buehner Corp. to stop all work on the Murray Smelter stack demolition project until the Agency is satisfied that all appropriate quality control and public safety measures are planned or in place.

Despite conflicting accounts, NO NEW DATE HAS BEEN SET for the demolition.
