EPA TO CONDUCT EMERGENCY PLANNING AND COMMUNITY
RIGHT-TO-KNOW REPORTING WORKSHOPS

The EPA will conduct toxic release inventory training workshops across the country on reporting requirements for emergency planning and community right-to-know. These workshops will help assist industries in preparing Toxic Release Inventory annual reports on chemical releases and other waste management activities. These reports must be submitted to the EPA and state officials on or before July 1, 1999. The training courses consist of hands-on exercises using the reporting forms along with supporting materials to help the attendees understand their reporting obligations. A complete list of the training courses can be found at: https://www.epa.gov/opptintr/tri, and click on “what’s new” and there will be a link to more information and the Federal Register notice concerning the workshops.
