CHICAGO (Sept. 29, 2005) — U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 has reached an agreement with Badger Meter Inc., Milwaukee, Wis., for alleged violations of federal rules on hazardous waste. The manufacturer of water and oil meters has agreed to pay a penalty of $105,400 to settle the violations.
