EPA Announces Availability of Administrative Record for the Continental Turpentine and Rosin Removal Site in Shamrock, Fa.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency announced today that the Administrative Record for the Continental Turpentine and Rosin Site in Shamrock, Dixie County, Florida is available for public review.

The Administrative Record file includes documents that form the basis for selection of the removal action. Documents in the record may include, but are not limited to, preliminary assessment and inspection reports, test results, and the Action Memorandum. All interested persons are encouraged to review and provide comment on the documents.

The documents will be available for public review during normal business hours at the following locations:

The Continental Turpentine and Rosin Site is located in Shamrock, Florida, approximately 1 mile northwest of Cross City in Dixie County, Florida. The site was a turpentine manufacturing facility that operated from 1958 to late 1984.
