EPA-USDA TOLERANCE REASSESSMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING JULY 13-14 IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

The third meeting of the EPA-USDA Tolerance Reassessment Advisory Committee (TRAC) will be held on July 13-14 at the International Trade Center - Conference Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. (telephone: 202-312-1300; fax: 202-312-1310). TRAC was established in April 1998, as a subcommittee under the EPA National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology, to provide EPA and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) with guidance on implementing the 1996 Food Quality Protection Act. The committee will meet from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, July 13, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14. All meetings are open to the public and both written and oral statements are welcome. The TRAC is currently scheduled to hold one more meeting, July 27-28.
