EPA Announces a Public Meeting and Public Comment Period for the Proposed Listing of the Walker Machine Products Site in Collierville, TN to the National Priorities List (NPL)

(ATLANTA – December 13, 2013) The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed Walker Machine Products site in Collierville, TN to the NPL and will host a public meeting to outline the NPL process, explain the timeframe for NPL listing and describe how the public can submit comments.
A public meeting will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Halle Meeting Room of the Lucius E and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Collierville Library located at 501 Poplar View Pkwy.
Written comments should be submitted by February 10, 2014 to John Nolen, EPA Remedial Project Manager, US-EPA Region 4, Superfund Division –SSEB, 61 Forsyth Street, SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303, or via email nolen.john@epa.gov.
