EPA Employee Honored for Superior Service

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency presented a bronze medal for superior service to Dale Long of Lititz, Pa. for innovative work toward the protection of more than 20,000 drinking water sources in Region III.  Mr. Long, the team leader of the source water protection team, has worked for ten years at EPA.

"Mr. Long deserves applause for his hard work.  Thanks to him, the mid-Atlantic region is a" cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA regional administrator.
