EPA Extends Public Comment Period on Clinton Landfill to Aug. 14

(CHICAGO – June 30, 2011) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is extending the public comment period on a proposed PCB disposal cell at the Clinton Landfill in Clinton, Illinois, until Aug. 14.

EPA will summarize and respond to all comments received since the public comment period began on March 15.

EPA held a public meeting in Clinton on June 9. The public comment period had originally been scheduled to close on June 15.
