MEDIA ADVISORY - CALENDAR ITEM


     A media conference will be held at the McColl Superfund Site in Fullerton on Thursday, August 27 at 9:00 AM.  The event will showcase the restoration of this site and the opening of a golf course on a former dump site where 100,000 cubic yards of petroleum refining sludge were disposed of.  The site is slated for removal from the Superfund National Priorities List.  Press kits with additional information and directions to the event will be mailed the preceding week.
