EPA Officials to Discuss Activities at Hemphill Road TCE Superfund Site

(ATLANTA – April 8, 2014) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public meeting to discuss current and future actions at the Hemphill Road TCE site (former chemical drum recycling) in Gastonia, N.C. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Ridge Baptist Church, 3818 Old York Rd, in Gastonia, NC.

The EPA will conduct a range of community involvement activities to solicit community input and to make sure the public remains informed about site activities throughout the cleanup process. Outreach efforts will include public notices, fact sheets and informational meetings on cleanup progress and activities.
