Statement by EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner
We are saddened to learn of the death of Congressman Julian C. Dixon. In his nearly thirty years of distinguished public service, Congressman Dixon was a dedicated advocate of environmental and public health protection for America’s families. Congressman Dixon will also be remembered for his work to advance the cause of Civil Rights. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his wife and family.
