Browner will deliver keynote address at The Garden Club of America’s 1999 Legislative Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 9:30 a.m. in Washington, D.C., on Administration efforts to build Livable Communities for the 21^st Century, including the Better America Bonds initiative, a new innovative tool to help communities preserve open space, protect water quality, and clean up and redevelop brownfields -- this nation’s abandoned industrial properties. Browner will also discuss other Administration efforts to revitalize communities and provide Americans with healthy air, clean water, and safe land on which to live.
