EPA Awards Bronze Medal to Philadelphia Resident

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded a bronze medal to Magdalin Adorno of the Fishtown neighborhood for distinguished service.

Adorno was recognized for her contributions to the development of the secretarial curriculum 2000 training program.  She has worked for the EPA for eight years.

"Maggie deserves applause for her hard work. Thanks to her, the mid-Atlantic region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA’s mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
