CHICAGO (May 9, 2005) — U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 Acting Regional Administrator Bharat Mathur will make an important announcement concerning brownfields in north central Ohio at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, at the site of long-closed St. Michael's Hospital in Cleveland.

Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell, Cuyahoga County Commissioners and state and local environmental and economic development officials will also be on hand.

Brownfields are sites where stigma or a lack of solid technical information has discouraged redevelopment.

Directions: The former St. Michael's Hospital is on Broadway between McBride and Fowler, in zip code 44127. The site no longer has a street address.
